The conference was devoted to the presentation of twenty-eight policy researches conducted by the Armenian social science scholars during 2013-2014 with support of the Center for Gender and Leadership Studies. Various gender issues, such as gender inequality; challenges and opportunities of strengthening women’s political participation; socio-cultural factors in women’s academic career building; gender factor in ethics of public service; women role perceptions in Armenia; the impact of migration on transformation of gender roles; as well as gender based violence and discrimination against women; human trafficking; gender socialization and education were discussed during the Conference.
